Several things that I did to get Mina to eat when I brought her home.
Everymorning,on our way outside she got a little lick of peanutbutter or Karo syrup on my finger,she wouldnt touch Nutracal. I dont know if it kept her blood sugar up,but it was like priming the pump and made her realize that she was hungry so she would be ready to eat breakfast after she went potty.
Mix 1T of Simply Nourish wet foot with kibble and warm in microwave.
Sprinkle a tiny bit of parmasian cheese on the mixture,stir and warm.
Mix a tiny bit of boiled chic in with kibble.
These three things got rotated so she didnt get used to what I was doing.
She is still fed twice a day,gets a BB cookie in the middle of the day and sometimes a carrot stick or dehydrated sweetpotatoe stick.
Mina also has a waterbottle bottle in her crate that she can get to at all times during the day. I taught her to use this by mounting it in the crate and putting a tiny bit of peanutbutter on the end. She loved the smell,licked and was surprised that she could get a drink too. She lives with 4 other dogs and acts like an only child.
