Sounds like what my family went though during the first week we got our Tubby. ^^ He use to bark for attention but if you give in, he'll do that FOREVER! I understand that you don't to wake up the neighbors but I'm sure they rather have him bark like that for 3 days or so rather then FOREVER. When ever you get home from work, play games with him. Play fetch, run around the house, and don't let him take long/lots of naps. That just gives him more energy to bark in the mornings. -__-" Taking your puppy for a walk is good but make sure he had all his' shots first so he doesn't get sick. Train him to walk on a leash around the house first and when you think he's ready take him for a short walk to see what he does. Then extend the time longer as time goes on. ^w^
REMEMBER DON'T GIVE INTO HIM, YOUR THE BOSS!!!!!!! Good Luck!! XD
