Roughly it is 1/2 the carbohydrates of sweet potato and about 1/3 the sugar. It has a lower glycemic load than sweet potatoes by about half. Good source of vitamin A also. Has a decent amount of omega 3 fatty acids too. It's a great food - more than sweet potato I think without the sugar spike.
