I was reminded this AM that 35 years have passed since the passing of Elvis. Do you remember where or what you were doing when you heard the news?

I was at a classmate's house after spending the morning selling school newspaper ads. We turned on the tv and there it was, all over the three stations that we could get in 1977. Both of us knew that it was the end of an era.
