I walk her with a harness. I have heard that where they are small never use a collar to walk them. I have always had large dogs (basset hounds). This Is my first yorkie and I am completely attached! She is my shadow. If they happen again I will try to tape it. That is a very good idea. I will also keep you posted on what goes on. Thank you all so much for caring about my baby.
I am NOT a vet...just been involved with Yorkies for about 38 years....but this does NOT sound like low blood sugar. Hypoglycemia does NOT correct itself...you said yesterday, when she did this, it would pass after a short period of time...this is NOT what happens with low blood sugar....you have to give some sort of sugar to correct the effects of low blood sugar. I would suggest you FIRST call the breeder and let her know you are having an issue. You can tell her what you have done already, but I would suggest you take her to a specialist and have her checked out...this sounds more like a neurological issue, ie, siezures....A seizure occurs, runs its course, then quits, usually without any immediate treatment...just like was happening withg your baby yesterday....I would follow up on this with a specialist! If your breeder is reputable, she will stand with you on this and offer assistance....after all, this is HER baby too.
