He will "ask" (bark and whimper) once or twice to come up front; but when my husband isn't with me, I like him to be safely in his seat. When at lights he stands and looks around, I tell him to sit before taking off, even with the harness we do this. He immediately sits and looks forward. He's a good little traveler.
