I agree with Reagan, you need to take a sample to the vet. How often does this happen? It sounds like coccitia to me or at least an intestinal problem. This is usually what happens with a dog with coccitia.

What food are you feeding your little one?

I am a believer of using dog shampoo and conditioner so I am not sure if this is from human shampoo. A lot of human shampoo strips the oils from the dog. I use coathandlers shampoo and conditioner.
