I am a hydrogeologist at a small environmental consulting firm. I do investigations of soil and groundwater contamination and clean up contaminated sites. I also work to help hazardous waste generators stay in compliance witht the laws. I am a geologist by training. The job has its hassles but it is a good mix of office and field work, which is good. Another good thing about my job is that I can work from home when I feel like it and Edie can come to the office with me.
