I'm not very good at this stuff, but I'm tryin'! I've had this raw wood thingy from Ikea for...oh....let's see, um...about 7 years...? And it's just been raw and and eyesore-ish.

I finally painted it, distressed it a bit, and added some metal file thingies. It's not great, but maybe presentable?

Does anyone else muck around w/ furniture projects?
