We put ice cubes and lemons in the garbage disposal....
Also vinegar and baking soda. Baking soda first, then the vinegar and it causes it to fizz and is supposed to get rid of the gunk.
I keep a glass of apple cider vinegar on my bar at all times because I hate those things!!
