Well, as I stated, I don't know anything about breeding and really don't have an interest in learning. My life really doesn't leave much time for such a hobby. At the moment, Meeko is only 17 weeks old and not yet ready for any mating action. Not only that, but he was at the VET for his last shots yesterday and they mentioned the possiblity of "retained testicles".
Having said that... there were a few other things that the very young Vet said and did that didn't make me feel to comfortable with his knowlege of Yorkies. I think I might run Meeko to a different Vet for a second opinion. I just didn't get a good feel for this young Vet. Its a shame too, cause I went to this office prior to check it out and the Doctor, which I met and liked. But when I got there for Meeko's appt. I felt I had been given the ol' bait and switch. Anyway, when I have more time, I will give ya'll some details about this.
