get an infant onsie with arms and legs, pick up a couple and possibly in a few sizes, you should be able to return the ones you don't want.
I mocked one up for Lola using doggie diapers and a dog tee shirt and duck taped it around the waist. The one day I did not use the duck tape she got it off while I was on the phone and got most of the stitches out, and this was less than a week after surgery.
