I hope you are able to make sure your Tosh has quality of life above all else.

Does the vet know what may have made your little guy sick? My Zoey was poisoned by dog treats.

The Renal food is best if your guy will eat it. My Zoey wouldn't so I ended up home cooking with vet supervision and guidance. I was able to have a little over 2 additional months post diagnosis with her before her little body gave out. The vet did not give a very positive prognosis at the time of diagnosis. He was surprised the lived as long as she did with her crusty BUN and Creatinine. You and your vet need to work as a team.

Value all your time together. Live each day with him to it's fullest.

I could have tortured her by leaving her at the vets for dialysis and continuous IV infusions but she would have hated it. She loved her freedom to sleep when and where she wanted. She lived and died with her dignity intact. She took her first and last breath in my arms.
