Alright so I just went through her treats and 2 of the four treats, the ones we gave her most, do contain glycerin. The one treat is suppose to be all natural and organic and even good for their skin. This makes me so mad. It has to be the treats because her hair was doing so good until lately and the treats were the only difference. Why do they put this crap in their treats anyway?!
I just read an article on the internet that talks about glycerin. It apparently absorbs moisture and is one of the ingredients in the Waggin Trail strips that was making dogs sick!!
I feel so bad about it because I always try to get organic healthy treats. I had no idea some still contain glycerin and how bad that ingredient is.
Thank you so much for the heads up. I will keep you posted on whether there are any improvements with Daisy once she has been off the treats for awhile.
