Some of you might think i'm crazy but when my dog doesn't want me to do something I put her leash on her and put her on a tall table. Then I wrap the leash around my neck so that I don't have to worry about her falling off and it keeps her close to me. Then I have two hands to do whatever I am needing to do to her. In the beginning I would have her in a laying down position and then everytime she got up when I would try to get in the top knot I leaned over her with my body to keep her from standing up and wiggling away while I'm putting the top knot in. She stays still for the topknot now because she knows I won't let her up until I'm done. She's 14 weeks and has let me put in the topknot for 2 weeks now with no hassle.
