I LOVE Merrell's! Every pair of those shoes that I own feel fantastic. I have their dress shoes, running shoes, hiking boots etc... If its not over a 8 hour shift I'd go with these.
For longer work shifts I wear Dansko's. They are well know in the medical professions. We can't wear sneakers at work, but I think even if we could I'd still wear these. The aren't cute and they are pricey but they are my go to shoe for standing. I will only wear Dansko's for my 12 hr shifts.
I have hardly any selection as far as shoe stores so I'm a huge fan of Zappos. The shoes I order are always on my porch the next day and I just return any shoe I don't like.
