Okay, that sounds like an ad for an infomercial...
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that Chester, who will be 5 months next week, is now 95% potty trained! It only took 2 weeks! I bought some poochie-bells and hung on the door. For the first week, I did like one of the YT members suggested and kept pushing his paws up against the bell and telling him "good boy, go outside, go potty" and after a week of doing this, he started ringing the bells on his own! He has been accident free for one full week. Just have to make sure I get to the door when he rings!
Anyway, I just wanted to share my success. I suggest that if any of you are having major dificulties with potty training, that you try hanging some bells on your door and giving it a shot. Before we tried this, he would never let me know he needed to go outside and I'd have to watch him like a hawk all of the time. Now I feel confident to let him wander the house without my constant supervision.
This is getting long-winded. Just wanted to share!
