At one time, I also looked at ingredients without paying a lot of attention to the company. One day I started thinking about all of the recalls and decided to look into the company of the food I was feeding my pups. They had all of these great words on their website about their team of experts, yadda yadda....I decided to write to them to find out WHO their experts were...no response. I called them and was treated like an idiot.
I then spoke with my vet and then a vet nutritionist and after those discussions I decided to look at company first...then ingredients. I find Hill's to be a solid company ... and I am happy with the ingredients in the food I have chosen:
