I checked the site another member posted and found very helpful information put out by the Therapy Dogs International site. They have links to find testers in your specific area, too. Basically, the dog must be over a year old and they say that dogs are not trained to be therapy dogs, they are simply dogs with the personality needed to do such work. They have the testing requirement brochure that you can print off (I did, as I am working to make sure Kipper can do everything they will require). You can also look into the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test at cgc@akc.org
