 Need Answers Please.
I posted in general forum before I saw there was a special one for this so here are my questions. My DH (who will be 62 next year, drives patients to appointments who are elderly as his job) will be retiring next year, and we would like to start a ministry working with some of these people in nursing homes. Just visiting and maybe taking them to the park, etc. to put a tiny bit of spark back in their lives. We would love to include Laddy and Kyra in this work but have no idea how to begin to get them qualified as therapy dogs. Any of you with therapy dogs can you tell me where to start please? What organization do I need to get in touch with etc. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks. |
