The what ifs are always going to be there breakaway collars are safer but will also fall off.

So we all choose our own risks.
Mine can't wear a harness all the time no matter what brand it will give her a rash and its just not comfortable. Callie also does not chew her collar so I leave it lose enough where if she got suck she could slide her head out if she wanted to. My mom tried harnesses on all the time with her beagles and they had major hair loss where the harness rubbed under the arms and on one of them it never grew back.
