Champion Petfoods And here's a bit of a break down of the new formula: 30% FRESH MEAT - fresh cage-free chicken, free-run turkey and nest-laid eggs, bringing Wild Prairie’s FRESH, never-frozen meat content to a full 30%.
8% FRESH LOCAL FRUITS & VEGETABLES -... Wild Prairie now includes 8% FRESH Red Delicious apples and Bartlett pears from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, and whole vegetables from local Prairie farms, all loaded with goodness and delivered FRESH EACH DAY.
UNMATCHED INGREDIENTS - Four of Wild Prairie’s top five ingredients are from chicken or turkey to deliver a high biological value [BV] for amazing performance and palatability, Duck meal replaces salmon meal, and fresh turkey is now included.
LOW GLYCEMIC - Locally-grown lentils serve as a low glycemic carbohydrate to deliver a biologically appropriate source of energy. Burbank potatoes are delivered FRESH, never powdered or dried, to substantially reduce the glycemic response.

• Chondroitin increased 3 times: occurs naturally in the cartilage and connective tissue in ACANA’s fresh fish
