I just don't think they make trainers like they used to. The first sets of Reebok walkers were the most comfortable I'd ever had...the ones they make today, don't compare.
I took my son to buy new shoes when he was last home from college. Bought a $160 pair of Nike Shox...and then the sales guy wanted to sell him a $10 pair of gel insoles to "make them more comfortable"
He insisted on putting one in a shoe so my son could compare with/without. He said it definately made a difference and so we bought the insoles as well. I bought a pair of the insoles for myself too.... and put them in my old trainers
If you find something amazing comfortable, please share....my gel insoles have since lost their cush.
