Patti, I cried when I read Connie's post. You have been though so much, and now you have lost your sweet Nikki too. You have been such a great mom, and he was so blessed to have you love and care for him. Though it was incredibly hard, I hope you know you did the right thing as he is no longer in pain or suffering. Still, that does little to help your own breaking heart. We will miss Nikki too. Our lives are all a little better for having known about him and his wonderful story. I'll pray for peace and comfort for you during these very sad days. Sending love and gentle hugs your way.
