Default Yorkie quilt

I have redwork type Yorkie embroidery designs that I am going use to make a wallhanging quilt. Was wondering what one color you all think I should use for the designs or should I use different colors on each one like the colors found in a yorkie or should I just use unrealistic colors like hot pink and lime green. Hummm.....maybe I should just do it as a traditional redwork. What do you think? I think I'll use white, off white, or black background fabric. Here's a link to the designs so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Hollys Design Studio: DOG-BREED-Yorkies

I stitched a couple out lastnight on notebook covers. I used golden on black background and brown on aqua. I made a Boxer one for my neice a few years ago from Holly's designs and it turned out great.
