LOL, we're told all the time that we are!!! When we got Kelli, I had NEVER had an animal before that I just felt such a connection with. Or one that was my ENTIRE shadow. She hated to be left alone and would follow you ANYWHERE you went. She gave the best kisses and just loved to snuggle. My whole schedule during my day revolved around her....when she was gone not only was I devastated to LOSE her, but also LOST because I didn't know what to do with myself! She had my whole day even right down to taking her out every 2 hours or so to potty, it was like clockwork! lol. On colder days less than that, but on warmer days she just loved to have the excuse to go outside...lol.
Now with Bella, it's just like taking care of a baby for me. I make sure she's comfortable in her playpen and that she has her two favorite toys with her at all times. I take her out to hold her and let her play on me while I work. I look at doggie clothes (I NEVER dressed an animal up until we got yorkies!) all the time and think about what kind of sweater I want to get her when she gets a little bit bigger and is actually potty training outside. I love all of our other little furbabies, but there's just SOMETHING about a yorkie. I'd swear they had some human in them! |
