Hope your pup is recovering! We lost our 15 year old girl due to complications from pancreatitis just last week. She was recovering from the pancreatitis, but she threw a pulmonary clot, which is apparently common after pancreatitis. Worst-case scenario for us. The docs tried to stabilize her, but even in an oxygen tank, she got worse and had to be put to sleep. Of course, she was 15, so that probably didn't help. You may want to ask your vet about Plavix to prevent clots. They put our girl on it, but she still threw one. Good luck.
