Gave all the furbutts their last dose of meds this morning...
It makes a month that they have been on metronidozole and fortiflora. A week and a half ago they were all put BACK on metro, (never stopped the fortiflora), panacur and a low residue, RX, soft food....NOTHING else...My poor pups...I feel so bad for them,.At first they LOVED the food.,.well not so much after a couple of days...couldn't give them anything else though.,...Still have soft poop but it's formed...Spoke with the vet this morning and questioned if maybe because they are only getting soft food this could be why,,,she said yes..I am starting them off with hamburg and rice....and slowly adding kibbles into the mix...I have also changed their kibble.I switched to Holistic Select...it is supposed to be good for their digestive tracts... it has probiotics and prebiotics, fiber and digestive enzymes in it....PLEASE!!! keep your fingers crossed that this is the end of all this pooping!!
