Well, as you know, I got a new bag of Acana Wild Prairie and was not liking what I was seeing with Riley with it..... We have always had excellent results with Acana but with this last bag, he started getting small dark circular dry patches on his tummy.... these could also be environmental, but it seems when I feed him only his NV raw, it clears up.... I have been feeding only the Acana, kibble and they started getting worse... [as you saw in the pic. I texted to you...]
I bought a bag of
Canine Caviar and his tummy is clearing up, once again. I have only been feeding it for about 4-days now but I am really liking what I am seeing. I know I need to have him on it for a while before I can get true results, but so far, so good!!
Note: He also Screeches when he sees me pouring the kibble, which he has Never done on kibble, before. He has done that with RAW but Never Kibble. I am assuming that means that he likes it!!
With this last bag of Acana, I having to entice him to eat it, or hand feed him. He would literally sniff it and walk away.
I had to take Riley to the vet after feeding him two different formulas of FROMM and him breaking out with bad ear infections, bad running eyes.... not just eye gunk but liquid running down both cheeks; and baaaaad silent but deadly gas [enough to clear a room]... the vet concluded that it was more than likely a reaction to the grains in it. We went back to the grain free Acana and all symptoms Disappeared and he was doing Great until this last/new bag that I bought.
I'm just hoping Riley Continues Doing Well On The Canine Caviar.
Hoping Peanut gets some relief very very SOON!!! xoxo
