I would go to a dermatologist / allergist to see if they can nail down what is causing the reaction, so that you can stop guessing on the food, since it might not be food related at all.

I know for a fact it is the food- He has been on Acana for over 3 years and we have never had any problems. Then I was a dingbat and switched him to the Acana duck and Pear, I know that food has the Oat- He started itching like crazy, I took him off and bought a new bag of Acana Ranchland, I heard they switched the formula-
Also the bag I bought the kibble is way thinner than what it has been. He is still itching like crazy! He doesn’t have fleas and he hardly is in the grass and outside. I know it is the food- Also I think your Vet gave you wrong information, I know a lot of allergies dog’s have start from the food… I know he is allergic to something in the Acana.
