I don't put it directly on them. It isn't going to work like advantix or frontline. I wet a paper towel (I mixed all oils in 1 cup of water and put it in a spray bottle) Then wipe it all over the dog...be careful not to get it in their eyes. I also spray their harnesses. Where this is all natural it has to be applied every couple of days but, I feel it's worth it! Better than putting chemicals on these little ones...
