I've never owned a big dog as an adult and I have to say I've always wanted one. All of my siblings own large breeds. Actually my brother had a weimeraner with his yorkie, and they adored each other. Naturally, the yorkie was in charge. My oldest sister has a black lab and my other sister has a yellow lab mix. I think labs are such a great breed. There is something about the chocolate labs that I have always found particularly appealing. I will think on this for another few days before commiting just to make sure it's not just my biological clock ticking. Well, I'm sure that's a large part of it, but at least this one won't need a college fund!
And you know, my animals are taken better care of than some human children, too. They're definitely more spoiled! Then again, it's really more about what I get back from them.
