Hi,

Congratulations on your new addition! I recently got my baby, Lucy, at 5 months too. So far, I've been absolutely amazed at how smart she is. I think that intelligence runs with the breed.

Are you crate training? I was going to do that but decided to use an exercise pen instead. Now, Lucy is limited to my kitchen during the day. At night she sleeps with me. She has steps up to my bed. I keep my door closed at night and there hasn't been an accident in my room.

I went strictly with outdoor potty and haven't used the big bag of puppy pads that I purchased initially. Lucy has no interest in them either. There have been a couple of mistakes. Usually, the mistakes were due to human error -- either myself or my kids knew that Lucy had to go but somehow we waited that extra minute or two and wham! bang! piddle on the floor!

But still she's getting it pretty fast. As long as you're consistent, I'm certain you'll have potty success! Let us know how it goes!

Best wishes,
Tracey
