I just purchased Advantix and am about to use it on him for the first time
I was using Frontline for a while, but I noticed fleas on my dog pretty often. I called frontline and did some reasearch. Found out that Forntline can take up to a day to kill the fleas and it DOES NOT repell fleas like advantix does.
My only concern is that Advantix is so powerful he might have a bad reaction to it

I would say yes since the mosquito would have to bite your pup in order to be killed by the advantix.
