I am very happy to hear that your girls are doing well today. Very scary! I hope you don't find any more dangerous goodies in your yard.
Before we had the boys, we put corn cobs out for the squirrels to play with. They always tried to drag them away and carry them home, but they were too heavy. I never thought about what danger this may pose to a dog if the cobs were dragged into another yard.
