 Vaccinations - A bad reaction makes me nervous
My little Ferguson, 4 1/2 lbs., just had his annual vaccinations plus the 3 year rabies shot. I think I really screwed up by having him get all vaccinations in one visit. They said he could be lethargic for a couple days and not eat much, which is definitely happening. But he's also shaking almost constantly. He had a fever last night, which was somewhat expected, so I put a cold cloth on his head. He's still not feeling well today, day 2. His ears are faced back and he seems to be escaping to odd places in the house when he's not being held. I don't see any of the severe reactions I was told to watch for, but this shaking really makes me nervous! Any ideas on what I can do for him besides holding him all day? |
