Are you hearing that one little pup taking in air (little piggish sounds...). You don't want it taking in air while trying to suckle. Look closely.....is the baby attached and only breathing through its nose (this is how it should be)? If not, get it reattached. Once they are on good you should be able to tug on the pup a little and it should not let go but suckle harder to stay attached (thinking it is a littermate trying to take its place). If it is a weak one, you will have to learn what to do to care for it. Please let us know.
