Ginger was a jumper. When she was a pup we put up baby gates to keep her confined to the kitchen and family room areas but she would jump over the baby gate. She would jump on the furniture too. She also would jump onto a kitchen chair and then onto the table. She had her little "energy fits" where she would run full speed around the house like a maniac. When she got a little older she could completely hurdle over the couch. She's a bigger girl at just over 10 lbs now. She can be standing behind the couch and suddenly jump over the back of the couch and land on your lap. She's almost 9 yrs old now and still the most active and physically fit of all our dogs. Crazy little thing!

Just be careful that he doesn't do anything to get hurt. They don't seem to understand danger. If he's anything like Ginger was, the first couple years he will be very active and very energetic (almost hyper sometimes). Good luck with him. He's sure cute!
