I would change foods. My dog is a two time pancreatitis survivor. After his second episode, he was placed on a 3% fat home cooked diet for the rest of his life. It may sound low, but his blood actually goes lipemic if it is upped at all. You might want to ask your vet about RC Gastrointestinal lowfat kibble, it's lower in fat than Hill's and I've had a great result with using this for convenience for my dog.
