If you're looking to get a lower priced Yorkie, perhaps a rescue would be good? One big thing that I've learned from being here since 2006 is this: That "cheap" puppy that sounds like such a great deal? More often than not, that cheap puppy turns out to cost thousands in vet bills due to health problems. When you adopt from a rescue, the dogs are vetted very well before they are placed. Any problems the dog has will be known and then you can make a decision on whether your family and budget can handle those issues properly. Not all rescue dogs have medical issues, but if they do you'll be aware of it first, it won't be a huge shock.
My next baby will definitely be a rescue

I love puppies but don't think I ever want to go through that phase again, and also would like to give a deserving little soul a loving home.
Best of luck in your search
