The kibbles are small for the regular formulas, about the size of a pencil eraser.

Now the grainfrees are a bit larger kibbles. They recently changed them apparently. They are similar to Acana, but maybe not as thick. Here's a picture: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

We just bought our first bag to try. I am intrigued by the "science" behind it... not sure it's really any kind of "cancer preventative" like they say, but *shrugs* I really like the low-ash foods (less taxing on the kidneys) and good protein/fat ratios, IMO. Seem pretty knowledgeable with their staff. They've always answered all my questions. They are made at Hi-Tek in Georgia.

Canine Caviar Pet Foods are based from formulas developed by Jeff Baker, Research Scientist and the Canine Caviar Research team.
I'll let you know. We started feeding last night. So far so good but of course it's had to tell results after only two days of eating it. But he loves the flavor! Poops have been perfect.

He's always done the best on Acana, so we'll see. I'm definitely not giving it up... just kinda irritated with Acana's recent formula change, smaller bag and price increase. Not that CC is any cheaper I don't know. Was initially looking for cheaper (Earthborn) and ended up buying CC instead to try.
