I'll definitely let you know how it goes. Seems like a teaching hosp could have a lot of drawbacks, we hadn't considered it for this case. But then again, I'm used to dealing with cats, not dogs, so all input is appreciated! I'll definitely stick around YT, I've learned a lot so far, during my months of observing YT conversations.
