Oh Kim, you will certainly have all my prayers for Corey. JHopkins is the best place he could be. I have read many good reports of these kinds of surgeries.... somehow after the bad parts are removed, the good parts of the brain take over.

A short story: Last year I fell asleep, pinching and damaging the nerve in my arm to the point from the elbow down I had no use of it or my right hand. Of course, I am right handed. Somehow, just after a few weeks, I was doing everything I needed to do with my left hand. I was shocked at how much my left hand could do, and improved with practice. It took 2-3 months to regain the use of my right arm and hand. Just saying, the brain is truly an amazing thing.

I have complete and total faith that Corey will do fine. My DD has seizures, but medication is controlling hers for the most part. I will pray for Corey and his doctors, and Mom and Dad too.
