As long as you had the puppy checked out before 72 hours, you are good. You can take her to small claims court for vets costs equal to or less than the cost of the puppy. Don't worry about her bottom line, or feel that you're taking money away from the care of the other dogs/puppies there, because this greeder makes a great living off her breedings, as she does minimal vetting and definitely doesn't do any kind of pest control from the sound of it.
I bought Luna from a pet store, I know that's bad, but she was SO sick, infested with anything you can think of. I spent over $700 at the ER vet, saving her life. I brought this up to the pet store, and quoted the Puppy Lemon Law to this witch, and she finally cut me a check for the $700+. She knew I wasn't going away.
The Puppy Lemon Law DOES apply to private sellers as well. Don't let this greeder get away with this. This is how they stay in business, they dupe everyone into buying what they think is a healthy pup, and they spend practically nothing on vetting the pups. NOT getting a refund of your vet bills enables this to continue. They count on people just shutting up and going away
Good luck to you and I hope your little one is all better now
