Don't know if it is normal but that's how Jilly lived her life - except her only food that didn't send her into GI fits of bloody diarrhea and vomiting was Science Diet Sensitive Stomach. So I fixed it just about every way imaginable, soaking, baking, microwaving, broiling, sun-drying - anything I could think of to give her some variety. She thrived on that food and lived to 13 years and 4 days of age. But if someone slipped her a tiny bite of even white bread - she was very ill for 3 days, tummy blown up with gas, bloody diarrhea, vomiting and never lying still she was so restless from pain. So that diet of Science Diet Sensitive is all she ever got for 12 1/2 years.
