Are there any types of harnesses that do not touch this area, or just any other styles/materials in general that we might have more success with?

Thanks

I saw the liners for the BB but I don't think it'll cover the truly affected area .

Let me know what you do with Luma and her sensitive skin! Sigh, it must be a girl thing. Brody doesn't have any of these problems
Ugh I know!! The problem is I'm not sure it's possible that a harness be designed to not touch the armpits without it coming into contact with the trachea!!

Although...this seems silly but..we originally had a harness from Petco that is full bodice and has a d ring just between the shoulders. She would cough everytime she pulled and I really hated it. I took a keychain ring and put it on the strap that loops around her back. It pulls much lower and no coughing! Not sure how much it helped, and it's kinda tacky, but whatever. We take her to the dog park in this one.
