I am a registered nurse, currently working in high risk labor and delivery. I work in a major teaching hospital with a large referral base, so we cover a little over a third of NC and get everything high risk and premature. I really enjoy it, for the most part. It is quite stressful at times, especially I am in charge on most everyday I am work. My background in nursing is varied over the past 11 years, from emergency department/trauma, to neonatal intensive care, to a stint in management to my favorite before a neck injury...critical care transport, helicopter and all!!!
My hubby is a police officer, now patrolling the hospital campus where I work. Much safer and BETTER pay!!
We have a son just turned 5 on the 24th
and Jolene, our two year old yorkie.
