I have a senior lady, as well as a little man....I have started mixing a tablespoon of canned in with their softened with warm water kibble, like a special treat...they have improved appetites and have stopped loosing weight....they have some teeth missing, and sometimes, I think it is just a big effort for them to chew that hard kibble up...so they dont. I dont like giving strictly canned...dont like the effect on stools....but they didnt like the kibble softened....so I mixed just a little canned in with it like gravy and they love it...not enough canned to adversly affect stools.... |
