October was a while ago. If he has a bad tooth or an abcess, that could have showed up since then. If he was eating the kibble and now suddenly is not, it could be his teeth. Yorkies are notorious for having dental issues, and the older they get the worse it can get. Does he get any kind of crunchy treat/biscuits? If he does and eats those well, then it's probably not his teeth, just His Highness demanding better cuisine
We would love to see pics of your little cutie. I just love the older dogs and would adopt some if I could financially handle their needs. They are just so sweet
