Louie's kind of a big yorkie (almost 11 pounds) so the Z bones aren't too big for him. We thought they seemed like a little much at first, but the vet said that they are so good for his teeth that it's worth it. Plus, Louie's weight hasn't been a problem. The vet says he's about right for his frame size. I can see how they'd be too much for the smaller dogs, though!
